In La Paz, food tells the story of the place. The Sea of Cortez, ranching traditions and the produce of the desert meet on the plate, each offering a taste of Baja California Sur’s history.

As we walk through the city, we stop at four local spots to explore different sides of its cuisine: seafood, ranch-style specialties such as the machaca burrito, signature products such as callo de hacha (pen shell scallop), and finally something sweet, perhaps artisanal ice cream or a local specialty.

Between tastings, we wander through the streets of the center and discover some of its murals. Food, local stories and street art become different ways to understand La Paz’s identity and its relationship with the surrounding environment.

More than a food tour, this is an invitation to taste La Paz and discover the city like a local.
